Server
Job Description
The server team will be responsible to provide excellent service to the clientele of the Den who may be locals or tourists. They should display full knowledge of the food and drink menus, and be proficient with POS systems, communication, and able to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Guest Interaction: Greet customers warmly, present menus, and make suggestions based on preferences or specials.
Order Management: Take accurate food and drink orders, communicate them to the kitchen or bar, and ensure they are prepared correctly.
Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality meet establishment standards.
Customer Assistance: Address guest inquiries, accommodate special requests, and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
Check Handling: Prepare and deliver bills, process payments, and thank customers as they leave.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to maintain smooth operations.
Cleaning Duties: Clear and clean tables, reset seating areas, and ensure general tidiness of the dining area.
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Manage and effectively utilize POS and Merchant services devices.
Create rapport with guests and ensure they feel welcome.
Learn the food and drink menu so you can effectively sell and upsell items
Work in a team environment and support other staff during peak times
Adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding standards of service, health and safety, and uniform.
Responsibly cash out each shift and ensure closing duties are complete.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure in fast-paced environments.
A friendly and approachable demeanor.
Attention to detail and a customer-first attitude.
