Bar Tender
Job Description
As a bartender, you have experience in fast-paced environments and have a passion for excellent mixology. You can maintain a clean and efficient bar area and effectively communicate needs to the staff.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during busy periods.
Manage time efficiently during peak hours to ensure prompt service.
Manage and effectively utilize POS and Merchant services devices.
Create rapport with guests and ensure they feel welcome.
Learn the food and drink menu so you can effectively sell and upsell items
Work in a team environment and support other staff during peak times
Adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding standards of service, health and safety, and uniform.
Responsibly cash out each shift and ensure closing duties are complete.
Skills
Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
(Bartenders) Knowledge of bartending techniques and cocktail recipes is essential.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
