The Den in Revelstoke, BC is looking to build its management team with a Spring 2025 open! We are looking for enthusiastic industry leaders to join us in this new adventure. The Den is a pub-style restaurant with a modern nordic feel, where you can watch the game, or enjoy a nice glass of wine. We are looking for people that love the Revelstoke community, or want to join it. This is a permanent position with lots of growth and learning opportunities.

Job Summary

The Assistant General Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business success. This position requires a proactive leader who can manage staff, optimize processes, and maintain a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in daily operations and strategic planning.

  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.

  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.

  • Implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

  • Collaborate with front and back of house to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

  • Assist in budget management and financial reporting as directed by the General Manager.

Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers.

  • Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
